and is that the non promo AoC? :) I know Walking on Water is also a Matthew enhancement, could be something to look at. And i think My Lord My God is just too good to pass up (death to GoH). Blue Tassles is a nice addition. I still dont know if Sons of Thunder is good or not. And the 4D Coin has helped alot against herods lately but i never get to pop it with Peter. Most of the time i dont want to because its helping me. Simeon Zealot is anti-Mayhem which i love. Im not a big fan of Philip or Bartholomew, I think these could come out for some better characters. Andrew fits if you want more red like Walking on Water and i would love to see Saul/Paul show up and play it with HT (CBN immunity). The problem is that all these guys give up initiative.

You could go the TGT route with Jephthah and maybe Battlecry and splash The Destroyer and Angel of Warning with ET and philosophy Birth Fortold. This is a version im still working on as you need to get rid of all the new sites.

why Malchus? take him out for Matthias.

(oh, and thanks for sticking in an Andrew.)

Lost soul generation. If you haven't figured it out, the main goal is to abuse Thaddeus asap, hence the speed. My drawing thus far as been impeccable (and I only got Fishing Boat off in one game).

Phillip is a star since he can search and then band to Bartholomew. No way he comes out. Even if I don't want him for RAs, he's a number for Thadd and a Fisher.

No disciples will leave these deck. Please keep that in mind. I'd also prefer to avoid TGT (I have my own TGT disciples exp. deck). Thanks.

I am really liking the idea of a walking on water addition.  I think it's a extremely underrated card that would go very well in a deck like this.

I would take out Blue Tassels, Chariot of Fire, and Brass Serpent for A New Covenant and Resurrection (which is recurrable with Matthew), leaving you one extra space for a Crown of Thorns, which I'm shocked you don't have if your goal is to get Thaddeus going.

You also might consider adding a Mustering for War, although taking two turns might be its downfall.
Now go make me a sandwich.

I'm still surprised at how few NT decks I've seen without Wash Basin. Why wouldn't you want to discard evil cards from the bottom of your opponent's deck or possibly put Lost Souls on top?

IMO, Ammy Slave>Malchus. it's also another character to play Plot on.

right. I was saying that Ammy Slave is better because you can play plot on him.

I don't think the offense has enough umph.  I only see 3 battle winners, 4 with angel of the lord, and that's still a far cry from a battle won because a martyr could b dropped.  I would put in a couple more.

It's definately something to consider. I have also thought about adding a Mentor, so that could go well.

Good call, I forgot about that. I will switch out Lampstand for Wash Basin probably. I originally had Herod's Temple in here, so Lampstand was a bit better.

I'll just use both :)

You don't need oomph if you just mill the James, son of Alpheus and Thaddeus band. The main goal is to get to them, and then just get as many disciples out ASAP.

I lost to JDS with it 4-5. close game i just couldnt break through at the end. early Rain becomes dust hurt even with a god draw. writ up and herods treachery on dude. i attack with philip banded to bart and he blocks with new guy.

Archelaus (Di)
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Gold • Ability: 6 / 9 • Class: Warrior • Special Ability: If 2 or more Heroes are in battle, discard 1 of them. Opponent may withdraw 2 of them instead. Cannot be prevented by a Hero. • Identifiers: NT Male Human, King (Jew), Royalty

so i let philip die and he CM bart he won next turn

also his nazareth stopped my mayhem and his james negated my EC's

not to mention red site stopped my aoc from killing his dudes.

I really feel WoW would have done well.

this deck needs a good name. "Disciples" is lame and unoriginal. something like "Thad is Mad" is lame but original...
