Someone recently told me that i should make a new deck, because my other one is pretty good, so i could have a challenge of building a new deck. I took someone who will remain nameless' old deck, and transformed it into this:

nope.... someone elses. i made some modifications, but i really liked how it was already.. i just need to add more defense i think. Any suggestions?

lol was it mine? some of it sorta looks like mine, jus without the tgt-ness and the hur. and yeah it needs some defense. take out like 5 offensive cards and put in some defense with it. maybe take out three nails because while its out half your d can't block. I'd maybe put in holy grail or a captured ark they can be really useful. and it needs more artifacts as well. one of your non UW artifacts gets DON'd and bad things happen. And with the lack of defense wall won't do much good so I'd take that out too and throw in an art for that.

It seems to me like an updated version of a certain player from Iowa's multi-colored smack down deck. I could be wrong but it looks very familiar. But all and all a few tweaks and I think you may have something rather fun to play with.

I'd switch Haman's Plot in for Dungeon, and Gomer (TexP) in for King Zed. a KoT instead of Red Dragon, and a Prince instead of Great Image

I'm actually using one of JDM's decks (to my specs of course) ATM......its what I do......find a good deck then make it my own

Basically took out cards that are no use or very limited use, Trembling demon with out HOH = noth great, great image w/o inative charcter = not so good, Josphe Before Pharo= mediocre at best so many better white enhacements,Three nails = okay but you have White,

Try something like
JBF swapped for Consider the Lillies
Three nails swapped for A child is Born
Trembling Demon Swapped for KOT
Great Image swapped For Philistine Garrison (POTW also works)

whatever I have yet to see someone have a problem with me taking their deck and modifying it to meet my needs....I have done like 4-5 of Gabes one of BB's and one of RR's and of course JDS's

Some one built it first, Should Justin Alstad be the only one ever to use a speed deck?

The type 2 winner last year was some one who coppied a deck from an online source and used it. The poster could not make it so he advertised it.

Basicaly every card combination has been looked at by some one else and used, adehearing more closely to some one else deck is completly fine and part of the learning experiance. If some one is concerned about having thier deck coppied they play it against some people and ask them not to copy the deck(only ever seen this in t2). But once a deck is posted online it's completly fair game.

Would that happen to be the musician deck I repeatedly beat you with last year? That deck was pretty beast...I'm not sure if it ever lost a game, except maybe to Adonijah or whoever that guy's name is.

Well, it can be rude if you don't ask and it's something original. With me...well, I don't really care if someone copies an original deck of mine. If I have a deck that is original and worth copying, I am flattered if someone does so. However, I know Gabe can get a little frustrated if you use one of his original ideas, so I would definitely be asking before using an idea that came from him.

I used that deck. he didn't mind. but that deck really wasn't that great. fun, but not great.
