Who's Inish?

"Sophie Soul Saver" makes a rescue attempt with her purple brigade royal Hero.  "Stingy Stan" blocks with his brown brigade evil Character and has initiative so he plays Korah's Rebellion.  "Sophie Soul Saver" responds by playing Royal Parade.

Does "Stingy Stan" get initiative to interrupt/negate since Royal Parade is causing the Hero to win, or is the evil Character removed from the game by Korah's Rebellion before he can do anything?

I believe the second option is correct but this has come up twice in the last 2 days so I'd like to be sure.

Royal Parade
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Purple • Ability: 1 / 1 • Class: None • Special Ability: If used by royalty, interrupt the battle and ignore one Evil Character.

Korah’s Rebellion
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Brown • Ability: 1 / 1 • Class: None • Special Ability: Interrupt the battle and remove all cards in battle from the game.
We are far worse than we ever dared to believe, and far more loved than we ever hoped to imagine.

I agree that option two is correct.  The evil character is causing his own removal, so he can't interrupt it.

Ignore:
Quote
Ignore is a special ability that protects a card from being defeated, harmed, or affected by the ignored card. It also prevents the card with ignore from harming or affecting the ignored card. An ignore card stops an ignored character from entering the Field of Battle. An ignore ability can be a successful blocking or rescuing card. Ignore is the same as “has no effect” and repel.
That bolded phrase leads me to believe that the ignored character, along with anything on him, would have no effect on anyone, unless I am misreading something here.
Now go make me a sandwich.

In the first sentence it says, "a card," which is singular. Basically, only the card that has the ignore ability (or the card that the ability is being given to) is protected under it. A character who is ignoring an EC cannot be targeted by that EC.
