On the other hand, a lot of other top players use speed decks that are so simple a mutant monkey with opposable thumbs could play them.

None of the above holds true, however, if prior to placing your hero in battle your opponent gets a Royal Cronk and says Fizzbin.

And if you want to prove me wrong, use a more credible source then, instead of just saying "wikipedia stinx", because it is a lot better source than you are.

"Captured characters" are not characters.  Don't treat them as such.
Also, road apples are not apples, cow pies are not pies, and peanuts are not nuts (botanically, anyway).

... Why bother to educate people beyond the high school level, since accountant is just a fancy title for "gets paid to guess about my taxes," engineer is just a fancy title for "gets paid to guess about the outcomes of non-linear cable equations for bridge supports, and doctor is just a fancy title for "gets paid to guess about this thing growing on my neck."

Originally Chuck Norris was supposed to play Jack Baeur on 24. But the producers rejected the idea when they realized the show would only last 17 minutes.

Redemption Players: Eight

Two to debate whether God even wants us to change the lightbulb.
Two to debate whether the REG covers light bulb changing and whether it counts as an instant ability or an ongoing ability (or perhaps fits under the "Other" category).
Two to debate whether the replacement light bulb should come from the West Coast or the Midwest.
Two to have a flame war about how to spell litebulb.
And one person to let me know that I counted wrong.

Sorry, but compairing the use in our society of cars to guns is like compairing bungee jumping to invasive surgery and then saying deaths in each afford equal gains.
... says the guy who compared the use of guns to HIS BASS GUITAR...

As a general rule of thumb, if anyone else on this board disagrees with you, what you thought was incorrect.
I disagree. ::)

Just like food, everything that goes in the body, comes out of it, and some of what comes out stinks pretty badly.

Pointing with one finger is considered rude in some cultures.
So is not wearing pants, and yet Donald Duck is accepted everywhere except Finland.

Actually, I believe his correct title was "John the Lutheran". At least that's how my church preaches it.

Sounds like you've almost got it. Name it Melk. Then steer the conversation to go like this:

"Hey, I've got something to show you."
"Cool, what is it?"
"Melk."
"Melk? What's that?"
"Melk is a deck."
{thunderous laughter and applause here}

I do the same. it works perfectly, although, some of the cards came a little wrinkled... like my Grapes.
Wouldn't that make it the Raisins of Wrath?

Since when has irrelevancy kept Redemption players from having a 12 page discussion concerning something they're passionate about? :D
