Genesis 18:32-33

If there are 10 who would like me to remain on the boards, I will stay.

(P.S. Since this is not in Open Discussion, please feel free to be good-humored all you want.)

(P.P.S. If I'm served spam I don't mind dessert being the fruit of the Spirit that is joy.)

(P.P.S.S. So how many actually knew the verse or bothered to look it up?)

What if it were just me?  Would you stay then?

Not going to ask why, I just hope you stay! :)

I enjoy your posts around here, and you add a voice that has been needed in everything I've seen.

I would prefer if you stayed, some of my greatest laughs on these boards were from you

And ANB needs a supporter!

If you want to leave, leave. If you want to stay, stay. It's always been my experience that only the most immature people choose to leave something if they feel that people don't like them (which I'm not saying anyone doesn't like you) rather than attempt to change their behavior though.

1. Lot rocked.
2. The Lord couldn't find 10 in Sodom and Gomorrah.
3. You will have little to no trouble finding 10 on these boards who also enjoy ANB shenanigans. Count me in on the petition to keep you.

However, may I ask why you would leave?

He's riled up over a post in OD I imagine.

To Stamp, I support whatever personal decision you make. I just ask you don't leave it up to others to make that decision for you.

I liken this thread to when 16 year olds make facebook statuses to the effect of "omgz everyone hates me guys I'm deleting my Facebook"

Why would we want to leave?

Or better yet, why wouldn't we want you to stay?

From a biblical standpoint it's beneficial for a social group to admire and appreciate its elders (I mean this in terms of years not in rule making status) I think it's great for you to be involved in the forums for the sake of pretty much everyone on the boards if for no other reason than that you have more life experience than most people on the boards.

Was that so hard?  I ask some serious questions and you respond with a very funny post.  And guess what, I laughed.  I laughed hard.  I was not in the least bit offended, and I didn't think it was rude.  And look, you have a "plus-6" rating so far.

I saw a licence plate that said ANB and thought of you. Would you deprive newcomers of a good, strong (to the point of OP) influence?

That said, Olijar is right; its your decision.

We need more old-timers on the boards to guide and brainwash with the power of ANB direct the younglings.
Stay.

I tried to contribute first. I think that's important; it's one thing to just post a picture, and it's another to say something towards the topic and then supplement with a picture.

Ah yes because adding something to the conversation always comes in the form of malice and insults.

This is exactly the point STAMP was trying to make earlier. You are assuming that my post is an attack on Alex, you, or somebody specific. It was, in fact, a comedic tie-in to Alex's post intended to make STAMP laugh (which I know he will). His major point was for people to lighten up! It was a joke.  ;D

I don't really think LP assumed too much. That post, without context, is much easier to construe as a personal attack then it is a joke.

I agree. Which is the inherent problem of the internet. That's why I am suggesting that we not assume the worst, which is the current tendency on this Message Board.

I was actually saying that in the OD discussion, but this thread was related.
