I've been playing a lot of DoW lately, but it looks like I'll have to relearn my Protoss!  Dark Templar when your opponent forgets detection: loads of fun.

Not if you forget to build missile turrets, which my brother commonly forgets to do.
On a side note, my text ringtone is "Nuclear Launch Detected".  This causes a lot of hilarity in LAN play.

Actually in sc2 the command center can be upgraded to have a comsat in it, In sc1 I also abuse comsats. Love the ringtone though XD that is awesome. Also do the terrans you play against use ravens/science vessels?

Agreed.  Nothing like ringing your BGH base with like 50 turrets to avoid drops.  I also do this with Toss and Cannons, which has a bonus over turrets and spore colonies in that it also defends against ground.
