So I've finally decided I'm going to quit. My cards have been sitting dormant since before Priests, and now they are just in the way.

I have a T1 deck, a little box of rares I sorted out, and then a big stash of mostly useless stuff.

Here's the thing: I want to give them away. I think Redemption is a great game and has helped me learn lots of things about the Bible, as well as gave me an avenue for great Christian fellowship, in my six or so years I played. And if these cards could go to a playgroup leader to be distributed as they see fit, much more would be gained than my obtaining $100 or so. And I've also begun to see the freedom and fulfillment that giving freely to others has on my own life, and so this is also a blessing to me.

Anyways.

At the time before Priests, my (speed) deck wasn't really lacking anything. It has AOC promo, KoT, Harvest Time, Guardian of you souls, etc. I would list off all of the cards it contains, but since they're going to be free, I don't think it matters.

I have that box of cards I sorted out, and then a bunch of stuff from previous expansions. (Previous as in, mostly Apostles and before.)

I also have Settler's of Canaan board game (opened once, never played) and a black redemption tshirt with the angel on the front. Size medium.

All of this goes to any playgroup leader that feels it would help them out. Honestly, pray about it and see, because it would help nearly anyone out, I am sure.

Shipping is on me.

Sorry to see you decide to get rid of your cards, but I'm glad to see that you'll be helping out a group of people that could really use it! Smiley

I am actually talking to some of the youth at my church this Sunday about if they wanted to start to play Redemption.  I have enough starter decks to get them started but I need some extra cards to try to give away to them!  I have a lot of Apostles, Patriarchs & Prophet cards, but anything else you might want to spare would be great!  If you've already sent them out that is cool as well!

Added:  I wouldn't mind helping out with shipping either!

weeble, that's pretty cool--major props to you.

If your collection is large enough to distribute to a couple different playgroups, would you be willing to divide it up? I bet the playgroup leaders who expressed interest would be willing to help with shipping if you were to do it this way. If you were to make 500 card lots for example, but I'm not sure how large a collection you have.

Just a thought--again, very cool thing you're doing! God bless as you move on to other things He has for you.

By the way, ulness your reason for quitting is a lack of time to play, there's a program now called Redemption Table Simulator which is just that: an online medium to play Redemption games with digital decks against people all over the country (or world, I guess). I would recommend checking it out in the RTS subsection of Redemption Tournaments.

Alright guys, sorry for the inactivity on my part. My computers can't get on the forums, but my iPhone can, apparently.

Hmmm.

Anyways.

Whoever wants cards will get some, provided I have an address from you in my forum pm inbox by thursday. I wanna mail them Friday.

So far the only person that has done this is soul seeker.

I really can't do anything specific in terms of what cards you get, as I don't have time. But I'll make sure to throw in some good stuff to each person.

Thanks!
