Tournament Idea
a Tournament inspired by the MLB
Deck Bulding rules: Type 1
Stats to show players their progress in the tournament
Tournament Games
Pre-Season Games: swiss style if not round robin
Season Games: Series of best 2 out of 3 games
Playoff & Championsip Games: Series of best 3 out of 5 games
Rules
Always have fun
Never Forfeit (this will include me too)
When Angered, Take a break anc come back when you'v cooled off
Requirments for playing games
you may use RTS,Aim, redemption chess chat to play games if you'd like
idk how this will do if it was made into an actual online tournament but what do you all think of the idea?
Prizes:
if anyone wishes to provide the prizes then it's fine with me but lemme know if you are first so things for me won't get confusing
Rankings: Wins Losses Ties
1.New Raven 0 0 0
2.Red 0 0 0

Raven,
While I understand that some people are often frustrated by what goes on in a game, I don't think a ten-minute break time to "cool off" should be allowed. Some people don't have a lot of time to play games, and adding an extra 10 minutes (assuming that only one break is needed) is rather rude to someone on a tight schedule. If someone feels that he or she might be in a state of mind that can easily allow frustration, it is probably better to put off the game, instead of requiring a break.
Also, I'm not quite sure what the point system would be for, if the season/playoffs are best of series.
One last note, history has shown that people generally don't join tournaments without either some prizes, or at least a new style of playing being showcased. I'm not saying this is a bad idea, but there are several other options for people to play in a tournament, and I don't see what would make someone choose this one.

well prof alstad, i can't provide prizes, if people will provide the prizes i can't see why not allow them in the tournament.
as for the time limit break i was merely thinking about people such as myself at times when i be right back i don't exactly come back at times which is why i wrote that rule down
i think i'll take off the points and just have the stats help me keep track of whose what rank in the tournament if they perticapate
and also think up ideas to improve my idea of Type CDM Colors Don't Matter

if so please share em Raven, you're not going to like this, but I think it's the truth and I'm your friend, so I'm telling you. There are already a couple established tournaments (ROOT, Type NW) and I have doubts as to whether this or the other new ones (ROCK, ROUT) will work out. People have a limited amount of time, and I don't see them putting more of it into this. Perhaps you should focus on your new attitude in playing in current tournaments before trying to start your own. |

You have received two great answers by 2 wise Profs saying pretty much the same thing in a nice way. I think you have got the general response from people to your idea. It's up to you whether you're going to accept it or not.
