Also much better when you make a Saint of Virtue deck... ;)  He can hold it!!!
Gates of Hell is by far the best card in the game.  No questions asked.

Leviathan/The Serpent. ha

I have not seen a single player use those both in the same deck since before Priests.

There's this specific Priest's gold set-aside card that would do you well. ;)

Yes, this works. Until they play don on your three nails. But yes, it's a great combo and I've used this many times. Same with witness to creation, but that takes too long.  ::)

I really like this idea; here is a deck I built around the idea.  Suggestions?  It is rough, but fun sounding.

This is an awesome combo!  I first saw RDT using this about two and a half years ago.  The only characters able to block it are the previously mentioned Leviathan and Serpent.  It can also be blocked by Doubt and Madness.  None of those are commonly played though.  Apart from that it takes a Dominant to stop the rescue.

P.S. - I guess there's always Masquerading and some other Angel Wars card that I've never seen played.  Now we have Large Tree to stop this combo too.

I forgot about Doubt and Madness, good catch! I've been away from Redemption for too long :P

I can't take credit.  RDT pointed those out to me when he smacked me around with the combo.  :P

You can also add Jacob and play RTC, if they only have one brigade.

That's really weird, because I've made orange/crimson decks specifically designed to get around anti-demon offenses/support cards, so there was lots of banding, Doubt, Seven Sons, and these two cards as an essential part of making that deck work.  How do you NOT take advantage of two strong non-demon cards in the same brigade, and in a brigade that blends so well with orange?

How does that help when Saint is purple and Spiritual Warfare is green/silver?

You're correct, it wouldn't stick to Saint unless he was converted to green or silver.
