Brown has four of the best evil enhancements in the game:
Haman's Plot (CBN)
Korah's Rebellion
G-Trickery (CBN)
Dungeon of Mal (CBN on King Z)

Plus, the best of the site lockout cards.

Also, some pretty good characters:
Uzzah
Ammy's Slave
King Z
Haman
Lying Spirit
Gomer (TxP)
Idolaters
Covenant Breakers
The Jeering Youths
The recursion characters

Plus, the Protection Fort from Regionals protects some of them.

Also, some pretty good characters:
Uzzah
Ammy's Slave
King Z
Haman (and with Zeresh and Weakness, it's super scary)
Unclean Spirit
Gomer (TxP)
Idolaters
Covenant Breakers (why are these guys good?)
The Jeering Youths
King Nadab (with King Jeroboam I)

Plus, the Protection Fort from Regionals protects some of them.
Brown is basically awesome in Type 2. Weakness them and you get unlimited inish.
I edited somethings in that post as well.
anyway, in T2. 5 HP's. 5 Gib's Tricks. 5 Dungeons. 2-3 Weaknesses. 2 Plauged with Diseases. 5 Uzzahs. 2 Hamans. 1 Zeresh. 2 Gomers. 3 King Zeds. maybe a King Nadab with his partner... an Ammy slave... you're looking at a pretty sick deck. I realize it needs more evil characters. I was just improving.

Wait... Korah's Rebellion isn't CBN, is it?

Brown is the Joe Mauer of Redemption. Crazy good and underrated (I've seen a lot more brown as of late, but I still haven't seen much).

Oops, G-Trick is CBN, not Korah's Rebellion.

Also, Covenant Breakers is great is they attack with BTN (especially with Gomer), or if they're using a Covenant to get around site access.

LOLOLOLOLOL!!

I rarely play anything BUT brown. I've always liked grey (and now with orange), but Brown is by far my favorite defensive brigade. Ask anyone who has played me.  :D

It doesn't have as many outright WOW cards, but overall, I feel it works together the strongest of any brigade, especially the Site Lockout theme.

I see you have AIM, send me a message if you get a chance, and I'll explain how brown is not weak.  :)

Went looking through some things earlier today, and was just wondering something.  Is it just me, or does Brown on the defense seem completely impotent?

It would be a Bad Decision on your part to listen to these Lewd Men.  They spread Seeds of Rebellion based completely on Ignorance and Jealousy.  Honestly, it makes me Sick Unto Death!

Is it their Intent to Trap you with Self-Doubt?  I smell Treachery Afoot!  It must be their Rebellious nature.

I cannot sit back while this Wickedness Abounds.  At the risk of provoking my Brother's Envy I will make this Preemptive Strike to expose their Useless Tactics.

I hope my words have not Wounded my brothers or cause Divisions among us, but I must end this Cruelty and agree with you that Brown is the Weakness of Redemption defenses everwhere.

I'll Retreat to my corner now.

Let me clarify a couple things in my asking:

First, I refuse to play Haman's Plot on principle.  Any card that I have to destroy and replace is out of the question for any deck I play.  Secondly, I exclusively play type 1.

That being said, I am just trying to get a sense of brown's capabilities.

Brown is said by some (Lambo and...me...at least...) to be the most powerful brigade in many respects.

I love, love, love brown.  It is the best overall defense IMO, has the best suicide guy, AND it is the best at site lockout.  What isn't there to love?

I've used Brown for T1 2P for years (including Haman's Plot), but the beauty of it is that I don't always need Haman's Plot. Brown basically has enough cards to build a T1 defense where every card is either CBN or a negate/interrupt.

My defense:
8 Brown ECs + King of Tyrus
Haman's Plot
Gibeonite Trickery
Dungeon of Malchiah
Shimei's Malicious Curse
Korah's Rebellion
Stiff-Necked
Image of Jealousy (TexP addition obviously)

That defense has won more T1 games for me than any defense I've ever used in T1, and that's not even using some of the more elaborate combos that Lambo uses with Brown or the many options for Site lockout.

I just meant to discuss it on AIM, rather than play. I don't know when I'll be able to play a game, since I'm crammed with school projects. Trust me, I want to, but I don't know if I have the time for it. I'll see.  ;)

I'd like to take you up on that conversation too, since I consistently fail to see how Brown is anything but the worst defensive Brigade.

Here's a little taste of what I did to some one with brown:

Quote
Thought you might enjoy what happened in my last game with my site-lock deck:

My opponent has only one LS in play and it's in a green site (which I can't get to).  This is where the fun begins

I go in with Ehud (chose a male blocker in oppnent's territory).  I chose a high number guy (don't remember who).  I then play Sword Vs. Sword and bring in King Zedekiah for a side battle.  I then play Taking Naboth's Vineyard to make it a rescue attempt.  Now here's the fun part.  I already had most of my sites out and was having a LS drought (luckly, we both were so the game wasn't as one sided as it could have been).  After taking his site (which freed up another site), I played Desolate Gateways and knocked off all but one of his heroes.  I then played Lacking sleep on myself (the tactic to get a judge down to 1/1 and put him in the seat).  Still my inish so.....I played Dungeon of Malchiah to get rid of his lone hero and then played Korah's Rebellion to end the side battle.

When the fun was over, he had no heroes and no one to block my rescue attempt.

Hows that for some fun with brown

Also another powerful combo....COM+Siege+Kor Reb = BOOM!!!

I prefer A Pole. I guess CoM is better in general for brown, since it has so many negates and CBN. and a CBN Negate! I love those! they actually win alot of battles...

Confusion Of Mind is there so when you play siege, you don't get nailed by all of the heroes abilities.
